From the post:
As part of the Eastern Academic Research Consortium (Eastern ARC), the University of East Anglia is seeking to fund two PhD students to develop world leading research in the area of Digital Humanities. The successful candidates will be expected to conduct their own doctoral research while at the same time furthering collaboration across the Eastern ARC.
The successful candidates will have access to a strong and vibrant research community and have the support of an able and pro-active management team. Within this framework they will have the opportunity to use their initiative in working with the community of Eastern ARC fellows and doctoral researchers to develop a distinctive and inspiring collaboration between the three universities. The successful candidates will be able to draw on the expertise of the universities of Essex and Kent where appropriate and take advantage of the training programmes offered by the partner institutions.
