The Director is responsible for advancing the GW Library’s mission to support research, teaching and learning by delivering relevant services including research-oriented search and discovery systems, GW’s expert finding system, the integrated library system, desktop support within Library spaces, institutional repository, website development, and consultation services (GIS, software development) for faculty and students. In many instances, active engagement with community-driven open source software development efforts is vital to advancing the University’s interests.
