Guest Editors are critical to helping DHNow reflect community interests, ideas, and opportunities. Becoming an Guest Editor is also a great way to discover the wide range of material and resources being produced in this diverse field.

Our editors sign up for a semester-long commitment, involving about 9 hours of work in all, spread out flexibly over several weeks. After your term as Guest Editor is over, users can use the “Nominate This” bookmarklet to nominate content at any time. We rely on our community of guest editors, past and present, to help us cast the widest net possible in the Digital Humanities landscape!

Guest Editor Registration Process

To sign up as a Guest Editor, please fill out this form—it will prompt you for some information about your areas of interest and where you’re coming from. We review applications regularly, and we hold orientations for new Guest Editors three times a year, in August, November, and May.
