NYU is looking for a web developer to:
Manage Libraries’ web sites and ensure their accessibility and operation from conceptualization to launch, including, but not limited to, development of information infrastructure, oversight of database development, and content management solutions. Develop project plans for major site updates; create time lines to meet client deadlines and/or department goals; monitor progress and revise plans. Create conceptual framework and mapping. Recommend and implement changes to site structure and functionality. Serve as liaison with outside vendors and freelance programmers regarding required prioritizing, directing and coordinating activities, web site problems and updates; present department needs to vendor, providing specifications and design drafts. Enhance web applications to meet new demands; troubleshoot and debug codes; collaborate with internal and external departments regarding web page programming problems and solutions.
