Sign up to be an Editor-at-Large

Want to help select the features on Digital Humanities Now and nominate items for the Journal of Digital Humanities? Volunteer to join DHNow as an Editor-at-Large!

Editors-at-Large are critical to helping DHNow reflect community interests, ideas, and opportunities. Becoming an Editor-at-Large also is a great way to discover the wide range of material and resources being produced in this diverse field.

Our volunteers sign up for at least a one-week rotation (Monday-Sunday) requiring approximately 3 hours a week of work. However, after signing up for an account, users can use the “Nominate This” bookmarklet to nominate content at any time.

If you have an existing WordPress account, we consider you a current Editor-at-Large. If you have forgotten your username or password, just follow the prompts on the login page. You can get to the login page by clicking “Login” on the homepage.

New Editor-at-Large Registration Process

Please email us at dhnow at pressforward.org to let us know you’d like to sign up to be an Editor-at-Large, and we’ll get you set up with an account.

New Volunteering Process

After you are registered for an account, you can sign up for volunteer dates here. For now, volunteer dates will not be accessible through your profile page.

Nominating Content

Once you have logged in, you will see a link to “Nominate Content” in the content section of the homepage below the slider. You can also use your dashboard to select the PressForward menu in the WordPress left sidebar. See Instructions for Nominating Content for more information about using the PressForward plugin to nominate content for consideration.

If you have questions or comments about the registration process or about selecting content, email us at dhnow at pressforward.org, or tweet us @dhnow.
