From the announcement:
On Thursday, March 19, GAPSA will host a number of pre-conference workshops. Although the workshops are open to all, GAPSA encourages workshop participants to attend the conference on Friday also.

Basic Introduction to Omeka
Staff from the Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media will lead an introduction to Omeka, a free, flexible, and open source web-publishing platform for the display of library, museum, archives, and scholarly collections and exhibitions. Its “five-minute setup” makes launching an online exhibition as easy as launching a blog. Learn how to set up your own Omeka installation for exhibiting your research and projects on the web.
