MITH would like to call attention to a new opportunity from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), to create new web-based creative projects. The Library of Congress has developed a user-friendly Application Program Interface (API) to explore the data contained in Chronicling America. While previously working at the Library of Congress, MITH’s Lead Developer Ed Summers helped design this API and the open source application that makes it available.
