RedHD is an initiative to foster and support the formalization of Digital Humanities in Central and South America. Their objectives are to promote and strengthen communication among digital humanists in the region; the training of human resources; the development of documentation and best practices; the promotion of Digital Humanities projects; and the dissemination of events, as well as advancement, discussion, and recognition of the field. It also promotes regional initiatives at the international level. For readers of DHNow, the RedHD blog is an important Hispanophone resource for current research and initiatives in the region.
