Editors’ Summary: This article engages with the transition between a dynamic (or dynamic-esque) software, like Tableau, to a more static presentation format, like PowerPoint. However, some of the philosophies mentioned here are transferrable to various types of presentations beyond Tableau and PowerPoint that we are familiar with in DH, including poster design and static website design. As scholars, we hold our research and academic inquiries to a high standard, but it is also important that it is our responsibility to create clear and approachable presentation and delivery of our work to both our colleagues and the public.
