Like many times before, I’m analyzing the international digital humanities conference, this time the 2017 conference in Montréal. The data I collect is available to any conference peer reviewer, though I do a bunch of scraping, cleaning, scrubbing, shampooing, anonymizing, etc. before posting these results. This first post covers the basic landscape of submissions to next year’s conference: how many submissions there are, what they’re about, and so forth.
