The postdoctoral researcher will contribute to a project funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities to develop an online reference tool for the medieval Middle East. Specific duties include advanced data collection using the indices of published primary sources in at least two different languages; contributing to editorial review and design decisions; historical research related to the project; testing the tool before publication; presentations at academic conferences; and a public lecture at Oklahoma State University discussing the project and its outcomes.
