The Palestinian Oral History Archive (POHA) is a searchable digital platform hosting approximately 1,000 hours of testimonials from the first generation of Palestinian refugees who fled Palestine during Nakba (“the catastrophe”). The primary focus of the archive is centred on the personal narratives surrounding the Nakba, and life accounts in the pre-1948 Palestinian era. The project began in the mid-1990s when the Nakba Archive and the Arab Resource Centre for Popular Arts conducted oral history interviews with members of the Palestinian refugee community in Lebanon.
